A re-enchantment of the world transpires today!

Early this morning the Sun released one of it’s most powerful flares of the solar cycle – an X4.9 class flare.

Interestingly, this flare is courtesy of one of the longest-running sunspots.

Sunspots usually last a couple of weeks, but this sunspot has been active since January!

It was first named 1944, then 1967, and now 1990.

Each time it transits the Sun it is re-numbered.

This massive blast serves to close out the past astrological year like melting a wax seal over a letter or a lead seal over a box.

At the same time, it ushers in brand new energy.

But the wise Sabian (Gnostic) symbols describe the energy much better than I ever could.

The position of the Sun when the flare was released is the degree that says “illuminated by a shaft of light, a large cross lies on rocks surrounded by sea and mist.”

The flare is the shaft of light.

It is up to each of us to determine what “a large cross lies on rocks surrounded by sea and mist” means for us.

Ultimately, are your hopes dashed or do you see a hopeful sign?

Is it both?

The energy from this flare will produce dramatic, out of the ordinary events today.

We want to remain centered and let cool heads prevail.

It may be difficult to just sit back and observe.

Action may be required, so do the right thing.

Remember that the Moon will be on the move to line up in sky exactly opposite the Black Moon.

So shadow sides are inclined to come out today, especially since this is the last contact the Moon will make with the Black Moon during the Black Moon’s last few days in Cancer.

Themes of self-worthiness or unworthiness, rejection and acceptance flow through the energy.

There is a certain energy signature that can cause us turn to away from “the matrix”… the illusory world… in disgust.

The Balsamic Moon phase does not enter until later this evening, so we still have time to close out the old energy.

Lingering feelings of regret, grief, failure, and disappointment belong there.

We can use the extreme light of today’s solar flare to burn it away.

Sabaoth (the Sun) and Sophia (the Earth) are in the final throes of a great plan to correct matters.
