Goddess Shodashi, the Goddess of Beauty, who washes over us today to lift us
into a dream.
This is timed precisely with the
dreamy Balsamic phase of the Moon, which enters today.
Balsamic phase is the "phase
between time" when the veils between the worlds are diaphanous.
It is the time to surrender
and release into the mystic.
It is a time of refreshment of
hopes, wishes, and dreams.
Today's energetics favor taking
things slowly and methodically.
There is no need to rush.
The most effective way to do this
is to stay in the moment.
Attach to the peaceful elements
underlying this energy.
The lower octave of explosions is
also present, of course.
Venus has reached the degree of
"a volcanic explosion," bringing high potential
for confrontations in relationships.
Catharsis is always implied with
this energy. Things that have been held inside are released.
The Sun passed through this degree
last week so some (or all) of what was built up has already been
discharged.
Aim for peace and if emotional
strife ensues, ask yourself if the situation is really about what is happening
currently.
Situations are ripe with fullness
as we head into the New Moon in Libra, which is a month-long equivalent of a
Full Moon.
Take some time out during the
Balsamic phase to look back and reflect on where you are and how far you have
come.
Share your time with others.
But more importantly, celebrate the
beauty of life and dream.
