First Quarter Moon Phase: Moon in Scorpio Ruling Mahavidya: Dhumavati

Amidst strong cosmic and supernatural forces of transformation, a reprieve is delivered today.

There's a pause in the "pounding" that is underway this week.

In essence, the Mahavidyas at work this month are taking a break… an intermission.

This enables things to develop a bit before they return to it.

During the intermission of a play, there is time for the plot to settle in on us.

We process it.

We discuss it with others and this takes our thoughts in other directions.

We expand our experience of the play.

Intermission is also when we refresh or have a beverage.

We quench our thirst.  These are themes today.

But all in all, today's energy conspires toward lusciousness as the Great Goddess Sophia invites us to indulge in our creative collaboration with her

There is only one thing we need to do for this: find and connect with our humanity.

It would be a good idea to define how the term "humanity" is meant here.

At its finest… it's natural state, humanity expresses, through artistic means, a spectrum of emotions, all of which are fundamentally rooted in love.

Humanity maintains its natural state through connection with the natural world around it.

Humanity is in love with its environment.

The message today is to connect with something outside in nature, remark on its beauty, and in the process, fall back in love with life.

It works best if you are actually outside, but if you aren't able to be out as much as you would like, catch a glimpse of something out of a window …office window, car window, house window… and carry it with you in your mind.

Tomorrow and Friday, the goddesses return from their break and pound away again.

They are pounding away at nothing less than space time itself, but more on that tomorrow.
