First Quarter Moon Phase: Moon in Libra Ruling Mahavidya: Dhumavati

Remember this picture?

Today we will have to practice the shamanic skill of being like a wise old owl in a tree peering out at the world.

This picture reminds us that sometimes we need to even become the tree!

Today's energy is very, very intense and we will want to make sure we are buffered from the effects.

Mars is moving up right behind the Black Moon all this week.

This tends to make us angry.

Mars will conjunct the Black Moon on Friday, the day Mercury stations direct… appears to move forward once again in the sky, builds toward conjunction with Jupiter on July 21 and opposition with Pluto on July 27.

The window of time between now and July 27 shows:
a.       War
b.      Aggression
c.       Rage
d.      violence

However, not to fear, underdog is here.

Not exactly, but the Mahavidyas… Wisdom Goddess aspects of the divine being embodied as our planet… Sophia…

… are taking this opportunity to bend and twist the power out of negative forces… throwing off the dominance of mind parasites who intrude on our sovereignty… Archons.

We're the underdog and the underdog is rising.

So while we see dramatic manifestation of the Mars/ Black Moon/ Jupiter/ Pluto energy all around us… through arguments, conflict, aggression between people and in the world at large…

... remember that this same energy is also what is taking down systems of slavery, particularly slavery of the mind.

With these astrological aspects in play all week … we will be tempted to:
a.       speak out of turn
b.      speak before we think
c.       react from emotion
d.      become angry at people who we feel are not supportive or doing their part.

If you feel this happening to yourself, stop and receive instruction from at least one of the four Mahavidyas who are working this month: Bagalamukhi, Dhumavati, Bhairavi, or Shodashi.

Take the conversation inside yourself before you deliver it outside of yourself.

In other words, let the goddesses teach you before you try to speak your mind to someone.

Any and all serious conversation about significant life events should wait until after Friday

That may be a tall order, but anything else is a false start… and will not work out well.

School is in session this week.  Let's learn a little more before we take a direction with anything.
