Here we tell a friend that he or
she is family.
I grew up with the concept of
telling someone, family members included, "you are my friend" meant more than anything else in the entire
world.
It had to do with the way it was
felt, to express the kind of friendship it was shared one used a special tone of voice, and included touching, hugging, teasing…
… Other people who saw this would
say, they are friends.
Having that kinds of fiend meant one's back was covered, it meant one was not alone, it meant one was loved, cared for, accepted the way
one was.
YOU are that kind of friend.
YOU have friends who are that kind
of friend, me included.
You are not alone:
* we are watching
your back
* we love you
* we care for you
* we feel we can tell you stuff
* we laugh with you
* we know we can call your home our
place to hang out
* we know you are the same to us as we are to you.
As such we know we are not alone...
... and we know you are not alone.
This is what true family is. We love you! That is what's important! ~ Tony
