our stance is responsive and strong

First Quarter Moon Phase: take action, step out, expression, growth
Moon: Taurus
Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

The forests of the Black Moon's domain are a familiar place for Kali, she tells us.

This place takes elements of the past and churns them to dust.

Anything that is blocking the spiraling evolution of consciousness is reduced here.

If we are holding on to those elements, we become caught in the grind.

As students of nature, we observe the changing of cycles and through this we see the process of transformation.

We are in the time and place in the cycle that directs us to let go of what no longer serves our highest and best.

The key here is "highest and best" because all things serve us, one way or another.

·         But what is best?
·         What has a higher purpose?
·         What can we surrender?
·         What are we doing that we no longer need to do?
·         Or has the thing already left?
·         What was lost?
·         What don't we want to accept?
·         What can we truly control?

These are the themes that accompany a teaching from the conjunction of Venus and the Sun that is underway.

Allow space for the transformation that is happening inside of you and outside in the world.

Wise owls watch this churning dynamic quietly while they are simultaneously aware of the potential all month long for sudden, dramatic events.

Though we remain fluid and open, our stance is responsive and strong.
