What to Expect – in a session ~ Tana Clark

What happens in a session?

First we talk about what you want to accomplish.

If you want your thyroid to function well and on its own or if you want to get rid of your allergies and be able to eat anything you want to again, I need to know that.

If you want to work on back pain, an old injury, hot flashes or digestive problems, just tell me.

If you want to get off your meds, we can work on the problems and I will tell you to check with your doctor to reduce or eliminate them.

Sometimes, it helps if you make a list in the time between when we set the appointment and when you come in.

List everything you want to accomplish.

Besides listing physical issues you can list self esteem, money issues or feeling unloved.

Since the emotional junk is in the body, we want to look specifically for those things when we work with specific physical problems.

It is helpful if you can make a timeline of the traumatic or stressful things in your life… bring it to your appointment.

You can put the positive in as well since it gives balance.

It seems that we have a few traumas’ that hold most of the negative energy… they begin the negative patterns in our lives.

After we talk about what changes you want to see, I go to a meditative state and connect to God to see what your body's priority is.

As I see what we need to talk about I will tell you what I am seeing or feeling.

I will tell you that there are parts of your body that are fighting or disconnected.

I will ask you things like: what happened at 5 years old that felt like a fight or conflict, or what was the separation that happened at 10 years old?

Our bodies are very symbolic.

They put the emotions of things that were traumatic someplace to represent the trauma.

Then we have to find it and get rid of it to feel good again.

I have learned techniques to rid the body of emotion, but we really don't need a technique.

The body wants to free itself and will do so with a little information and help.

I work lots with emotional release and have had some very good results with it.

As the body rids itself of the imbalances and heavy emotion, it has more energy to work correctly and heal.

What to Expect – after a session.

When we are through with a session you will sometimes be tired.

Emotions can do that to us, but the more we work the less tired it should make you.

Some people don't get tired at all, they feel lighter and happier.

It will last from several days to weeks.

When we work on a specific issue like thyroid, you may see a surge in energy or warmth for a few days and then it will go away.

The body is trying to tell you something.

It's trying to say "you did a good job getting rid of that junk but there's more to do".

Our bodies really do try to communicate with us.

Even the pain we have is trying to communicate that something needs to be changed.

The healing process is a roller coaster.

It's up and down, up and down with an overall upward direction.

Every once in a while some people will experience a headache or brain fog that doesn't seem to lift.

It usually starts shortly after the appointment.

It means that your body is sabotaging what we have done, that it is fighting or won't accept the changes that we have made.

Text me or call and leave a message and I will try to get back with you the same day.

We just have to figure out why your body is fighting to keep you from healing.

I try to catch the sabotage before it ever happens, but I don't always see it sneaking up.

Some people have no sabotage and will never experience these symptoms.

Some may have it happen once, and some every once in a while.

Even after it feels like our body is working great we may have something trigger the problem again and we need to do a follow up session to clear the trigger.

It just means that something was lurking in the background and was waiting to be cleared.

When things seem to go wrong for me I always see it as "My body wants to heal something else."

It is actually a good thing because it leaves us free to be what we want to be and feel even better.
